The Jackson-Lincoln Swimming Complex has been a staple in the Quincy community for nearly 30 years. As a young person, it was where I fell in love with the water, splashing around with friends and, eventually, returning as a young adult to bring other children to the pool as a youth counselor. As time went on, I returned to the area, eventually becoming the Vice President of the Board and bringing my daughter to the pool to enjoy everything the pool has to offer.

Like so many in the parks and recreation industry, the COVID-19 pandemic decimated community pools around the country and costs have only continued to rise. As the only non-profit in the area whose community give back is operating a swimming pool, we need you now more than ever to keep the pool open. We provide lifeguarding jobs for teens who can come back every summer with a guaranteed position, swim lessons for youth, and an open, non-judgmental space for community events and individuals to be their authentic selves.

Our goal is to raise $230,000 by July 15th to keep our community pool, and continue to offer our services to every person who walks through our door.
