Triple P Accreditation Support
In 2024, Connect facilitated 31 referrals for Habilitation services, each typically spanning a six-month period. These intensive services are delivered by five dedicated Connect employees who are required to complete the rigorous Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) accreditation process to ensure they provide evidence-based, high-quality support to families.
Each Triple P certification costs over $2,000 per staff member, representing a significant investment in training and program fidelity. With growing demand and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) identifying the need for additional staffing, it is critical that we continue to equip our team with the tools and credentials necessary to meet this need.
Investing in Triple P materials and certifications not only ensures compliance with best practice standards, but also directly strengthens the parenting capacity of families in the child welfare system—ultimately helping to prevent future placements and stabilize home environments.
