Connect Child and Family Solutions

Connect is a community-based non-profit. We partner with local fostering agencies, both public and private, and have created the resources of this organization based on the needs voiced by our city’s frontline caregivers. 

We're asking for assistance in four of areas, which are listed under "Featured Campaigns". A brief description of each is listed below, but more detail can be found by clicking on each campaign.

1. Starter Kits

At Connect, we provide Starter Kits to every child entering foster care with the goal of reducing immediate stress and helping foster families focus on what matters most—healing and bonding during a major life transition.

2. Staff Certification

Each Triple P certification costs over $2,000 per staff member, representing a significant investment in training and program fidelity. With growing demand and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) identifying the need for additional staffing, it is critical that we continue to equip our team with the tools and credentials necessary to meet this need.

3. Conference Room Refresh

As our programs grow and our services expand, we want to update the spaces we welcome people into. We're seeking $25,000 to refresh and transform our conference room into a modern, welcoming, and well-equipped environment where meaningful work can thrive.

4. Building Renovations

We’ve taken a bold step toward growth and deeper impact by purchasing a 9,300 sq. ft. commercial space for $270,000—a permanent home for Connect and the foster care community we serve. Now, we need your help to transform it.
