QPS Faculty & Staff

Across every school in Quincy, whether in classrooms, hallways, offices, or cafeterias—there are individuals who go above and beyond—not for recognition, but because they believe in our students and our schools. The QPS Faculty & Staff Appreciation Circle Fund was created to honor these everyday heroes: teachers who spark imagination, secretaries who offer a comforting smile, custodians who keep our schools safe and welcoming, administrators who guide with vision and compassion, and support staff who lift students up in countless unseen ways. Together, they make Quincy Public Schools a place where young people grow, thrive, and find their way.

This fund was inspired by someone whose life was profoundly shaped by the care and dedication of QPS educators and staff. Wanting to ensure their influence would never be forgotten, they established this enduring fund as a living tribute—a way for the entire community to say, “Your impact lives on.”

Donations to the Appreciation Circle Fund are endowed, meaning your gift is invested and never spent. Each year, the earnings go directly toward meeting the most urgent needs in our schools. From classroom resources to enrichment opportunities to student support services, this fund helps ensure that vital programs and projects receive the backing they need. It’s a gift that does more than thank—it creates lasting impact.

Thanks to the remarkable generosity of our community, we’ve already surpassed our initial $10,000 goal! The fund is now active and already positioned to make a meaningful difference in Quincy Public Schools. But we’re just getting started.
