Class of 2012! It has been more than a decade has passed since the Class of 2012 graduated from Quincy High School—stepping out into a world full of promise, change, and possibility. Now, as proud Quincy High School alumni, you have a special opportunity to come together and create a lasting legacy.

Your class can raise $10,000 to establish a permanent endowed fund—your Class Circle—to support Quincy Public Schools students for years to come. This fund will provide essential resources in technology access, arts and music education, mental health support, athletics, and career and college readiness.

Your Class Circle has not yet been started—but it begins with you. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps build a more equitable and empowering educational environment for future Blue Devils.

Your senior year was filled with moments that captured the energy and heart of your class. Whether you performed on the stage, led in clubs, competed with pride as a Blue Devil athlete, or simply made memories in the hallways, the Class of 2012 left a lasting impression on Quincy High.

Beyond QHS, the world was buzzing. In 2012, Barack Obama was re-elected President of the United States, defeating Mitt Romney. The world watched as London hosted the Summer Olympics, where swimmer Michael Phelps became the most decorated Olympian of all time and gymnast Gabby Douglas became a household name.

In pop culture, The Avengers assembled for the first time, launching a cinematic universe that would define a generation. The Hunger Games premiered and quickly became a cultural phenomenon. Musically, Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” took over the airwaves, and Gangnam Style became the first YouTube video to hit one billion views, introducing the world to viral dance challenges.

In 2012, Technologically, it was a time of rapid change—Facebook went public, Instagram surged in popularity, and many of you were sending your first Snapchats. Smartphones quickly became essential to daily life, making the world feel more connected than ever before.

Now, you have the opportunity to create a legacy for students just beginning their own Blue Devil journey. By contributing to your Class Circle, you’re helping ensure that future QHS students have the same opportunities—and more.

By supporting your Class Circle, you celebrate the opportunities and memories that shaped your QHS journey. Let’s show that the Class of 2012 remains united, generous, and committed to empowering the next generation of Blue Devils.
