Class of 1996! It’s been nearly three decades since you walked the halls of Quincy High as proud Blue Devils, stepping into a world on the edge of incredible change. Today, you have a powerful opportunity to come together again—this time to build a lasting legacy through the Class Circles Challenge.
Through the Class Circles Challenge, your class can raise $10,000 to establish a permanent endowed fund—your Class Circle—dedicated to supporting future Quincy students. This fund will provide vital resources: technology access, arts and music education, mental health services, athletics, and college and career readiness. Every Blue Devil deserves the opportunity to thrive—and your support can help make that possible.
Your Class Circle Fund starts with you. Every gift—no matter the size—lays the foundation for long-term impact. Each contribution strengthens the fund and helps build a more equitable school system where students, educators, and the QPS community are empowered to succeed.
Your senior year was marked by defining events. The 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta brought global focus to the U.S., celebrating excellence and resilience—especially in the wake of the Centennial Olympic Park bombing. That same year, President Bill Clinton was re-elected, reflecting a time of economic growth and rapid technological advancement.
Culturally, 1996 was unforgettable. The Spice Girls burst onto the scene with Wannabe, bringing messages of empowerment and friendship. Independence Day dominated the box office, and the Nintendo 64 revolutionized gaming. Meanwhile, the cloning of Dolly the sheep marked a breakthrough in science, sparking global curiosity and ethical debate.
At Quincy High, you embodied the energy of that era—embracing change, showing resilience, and building connections that have lasted for decades. Whether in the classroom, on the field, on stage, or through community involvement, the Class of 1996 left a lasting mark.
Now is the time to bring that spirit back. Reach out to your classmates—teammates, performers, leaders, and lifelong friends—and encourage them to be part of the Class Circles Challenge. Every donation, large or small, brings your class closer to completing your Circle. Your progress will be tracked online, allowing you to celebrate milestones together and see the impact of your collective efforts.
Your contributions will fund essential programs that give today’s students the same kinds of opportunities you once had—access to the tools, support, and experiences that help young people thrive.
Let’s come together, just like we did in 1996, to make a difference for the next generation of Quincy students. Join the Class Circles Challenge and help ensure that the pride, purpose, and possibilities that defined your experience continue to uplift every future Blue Devil.
