Class of 1971! It has been over fifty years since we walked the halls of Quincy High School, ready to take on the world. The early '70s were a time of transformation—both for our country and for each of us. In 1971, we witnessed monumental events like the publication of the Pentagon Papers, the launch of Apollo 14, and the introduction of the microprocessor, which would revolutionize technology. At Quincy High, we forged friendships, discovered our passions, and laid the groundwork for our futures.

As we approach this significant milestone, we have a unique opportunity to come together—not just to reminisce, but to create a lasting legacy that will benefit future generations of Quincy students through the Class Circles Challenge.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to establish a permanent endowed fund—the Class of 1971 Circle. This fund will provide ongoing support to Quincy Public Schools in areas that matter: access to technology, mental health resources, arts and music education, athletics, and college and career readiness.

This is our chance to give back to the school that helped shape who we are today. Every contribution to the Class of 1971 Circle will build toward that enduring legacy. Once we reach our goal, the fund will continue to grow, supporting students and teachers for years to come.

Let’s also take this time to reconnect. Reach out to your classmates, share memories, and encourage others to join the effort. Whether we were teammates, band members, or study partners, we all share a bond that began at Quincy High School in 1971.

Together, we can turn our shared memories into meaningful progress and our pride into lasting impact. Let’s launch the Class of 1971 Circle—and create something truly lasting for the future of Quincy High.
