Class of 1968! It’s hard to believe nearly 60 years have passed since the Class of 1968 graduated from Quincy High School. We came of age during one of the most unforgettable and transformative years in American history. We mourned the heartbreaking assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy. We found hope as Apollo 8 orbited the Moon on Christmas Eve. The Beatles gave us “Hey Jude,” Laugh-In kept us smiling, and in Quincy, we shared friendships, pep rallies, and milestones that left a lifelong mark.

As we look ahead to our 60th reunion, we now have a powerful opportunity to come together again—not just to reminisce, but to create a legacy that will impact future generations of Blue Devils through the Class Circles Challenge.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to establish a permanent endowed fund—the Class of 1968 Circle—that will support Quincy Public Schools students for years to come. Once fully funded, this Circle will provide ongoing support in key areas: access to technology, mental health resources, arts and music education, athletics, and college and career readiness. It’s our way of giving back to the school system and community that helped shape who we are.

This initiative is just getting started—and we need classmates like you to help build the momentum. Whether you give in honor of your class year, a favorite teacher, or simply because QHS helped launch your journey, every gift brings us closer to our goal. And once we reach it, the Class of 1968 Circle will live on—forever—empowering students year after year.

This campaign is also a chance to reconnect. Reach out to old friends, share your favorite memories, and invite others to be part of this meaningful effort. Let’s turn our shared experiences into something that lasts.

Together, we can turn memories into momentum and pride into purpose. Let’s build the Class of 1968 Circle—and continue making a difference, just as we always have.
