Class of 1966! It has been nearly 60 years since the Class of 1966 graduated from Quincy High School. The world was changing fast—and so were we. That year, we watched Star Trek beam onto TV screens, cheered for the Beatles’ Revolver, and marveled as NASA took another bold step in the space race. In our own classrooms and hallways, we built friendships, found our voices, and laid the foundation for our futures.

Now, as we prepare to celebrate this milestone year, we have a powerful opportunity to come together again—not just to remember the past, but to build a legacy that will support generations of Quincy students through the Class Circles Challenge.

The goal is simple but meaningful: raise $10,000 to create a permanent endowed fund—the Class of 1966 Circle. Once established, this fund will provide ongoing support to Quincy Public Schools in areas that matter: access to technology, mental health resources, arts and music education, athletics, and college and career readiness.

This is our moment to give back to the school system that helped launch us. Every dollar contributed to the Class of 1966 Circle builds toward that legacy. And once we reach our goal, the fund will live on—invested to benefit students and teachers forever.

Let’s also use this as a chance to reconnect. Reach out to classmates, share stories, and encourage others to join the effort. Whether we cheered together in the stands, sang in the choir, or sat side by side in class, we’re all part of the story that began at QHS in 1966.

Together, we can turn memories into momentum and pride into progress. Let’s launch the Class of 1966 Circle—and build something truly lasting.
