The Healthy Hoops Basketball Project is a community-driven initiative led by the White Hall Park Board to promote mental and physical wellness through play. Our goal is to install a basketball court at Whiteside Park—a much-needed space for youth to stay active, build healthy habits, and find a positive outlet close to home.

In a community with limited local resources, this project responds directly to the voices of families who seek safe, accessible opportunities for their children. Basketball is not just a sport—it’s a powerful tool to boost mental health, encourage outdoor activity, and bring people together.
