At Mounted Angels, we believe every child deserves the chance to feel confident, capable, and free. Our therapeutic horsemanship program provides completely free riding lessons to children with disabilities across Pike County and the greater West Central Illinois region.

For many of our riders, this is more than a lesson—it’s a moment where challenges fade and joy takes the reins. With the gentle partnership of our specially trained horses and the support of dedicated volunteers, children build strength, balance, communication skills, and self‑esteem in an environment filled with encouragement and possibility.

We never charge families a single dollar.
