The Loraine Community Church has identified a need for school supplies in our local communities. In 2024 we held our first "Bouncing Back to School" event and supplied 54 students with school supplies! We are looking to double or even triple that number this year! We need your help. Your donation would go toward purchasing school supplies for children in our local communities.
Bouncing Back to School is an event where school supplies are handed out to school aged children at no cost to the children. The children (with an adult) simply tell us what grade they are going into and we put the school supplies together (from the provided teacher list) and hand back to the children. The child is able to pick out a backpack during this time. Free haircuts are provided during the event. Free vision screenings are provided during the event. A bounce house is provided for something fun to do before/after getting the supplies. Bouncing Back to School will be at the Loraine Community Church August 3, 2025 2-5pm.
