Girl Scouts of Central Illinois Inc

At Girl Scouts of Central Illinois (GSCI), we focus on community and sisterhood, on appreciating everyone’s unique value, celebrating our differences, and on supporting one another through obstacles and conflict.

Locally, this is achieved through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) delivered to nearly 1,500  girls, age 5-17, across Adams, Brown, Cass, Greene, Hancock, McDonough, Morgan, Pike, Schuyler, and Scott counties each year. This proven program model encourages Girl Scouts to discover themselves, connect with others, and take action to make the world – and greater Quincy community– a better place. Guided by supportive adults and peers, participants in the GSLE engage in age- appropriate activities that are girl-led, cooperative, and hands-on, leading to the develop of key leadership skills critical to navigating childhood and adolescence before growing into successful adults.
