“Changing Lives Through Hope, Support, and Opportunity”

Impact Global is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives throughout Adams County and surrounding West Central Illinois communities by providing workforce development, supportive housing, recovery support services, and pathways to self-sufficiency for underserved and vulnerable populations. Our mission is rooted in restoring dignity, strengthening families, and creating opportunities for individuals to overcome barriers and achieve long-term success.

A restored home becoming a place of healing and stability for individuals rebuilding their lives.

In 2023, Impact Global successfully delivered the ILWORKS Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program to more than 60 adults, equipping participants with workforce readiness skills, hands-on career training, and pathways into apprenticeships and careers within the building trades industry. Building on this success, Impact Global is currently developing a YouthBuild Apprenticeship Program designed for youth ages 16–24 who have dropped out of high school and face significant life challenges. The program will serve justice-involved youth, individuals with disabilities, migrants, foster care youth, youth experiencing homelessness, and those facing food insecurity. Participants will have the opportunity to earn their high school diploma or equivalency while receiving certifications and hands-on training in the building trades.

Students renovating homes while gaining valuable construction experience and life-changing career skills.

Through the YouthBuild Program, students will actively participate in the rehabilitation and renovation of homes throughout the Adams County area and surrounding communities. One featured project is the 829 North Sixth Street Recovery Supportive Housing Initiative, which will first serve as a live work-site training environment for students before becoming a safe, stable, and recovery-focused transitional housing facility for individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and barriers following incarceration or treatment.

A recovery-focused environment where individuals can heal, rebuild confidence, and transition toward permanent housing and independence.

The 829 North Sixth Street Recovery Supportive Housing Initiative will combine transitional housing with peer support, workforce development, life skills training, case management, and strong community partnerships to promote long-term recovery, reduce recidivism, and empower residents toward self-sufficiency and housing stability.

The need for these services continues to grow throughout our communities, and donor support is essential to sustaining and expanding our impact. Every contribution—regardless of amount—helps provide educational opportunities, workforce training, housing support, transportation assistance, recovery services, basic needs, and life-changing opportunities for individuals and families who often feel forgotten or without hope.

A single act of generosity can help restore hope, create opportunity, and transform a life forever.

Your investment in Impact Global is more than a donation—it is an investment in stronger families, safer communities, workforce development, recovery, affordable housing, and brighter futures. Together, we can break cycles of homelessness, poverty, unemployment, incarceration, and hopelessness while creating pathways toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
