Farwell House

Since its beginning in 2015, the focus of Farwell House has been to create unique opportunities to foster connections between artists, the arts, and rural community members. The organization has accomplished this through the development of an artist-in-residence program which provides artists from across the country time and space to work on their art, as well as time to engage with community members through workshops and open studio hours. Farwell House also promotes community connections with local artists and musicians through one-day art exhibitions, a yearly music festival, and a free community festival. With the support of individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, the organization has also been able to bring new life and a new purpose into a historic home in the community.
