Culbertson Memorial Hospital Foundation

A nonprofit organization

$1,100 raised by 2 donors

Established in 1995 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, the Culbertson Memorial Hospital Foundation conducts various fundraising activities each year to improve healthcare services of those served by Sarah D. Culbertson Memorial Hospital. All contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law. It’s important to note that the Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation that is separate from the hospital. Your gifts directly and positively impact the quality of local healthcare provided to the area.

The CMH Foundation is currently raising money for three different projects in addition to our normal foundation projects.

Inpatient Room Renovations: This project will transition the hospital's current patient rooms into single-occupancy rooms, creating a more private environment for our patients. The renovation will also include private shower facilities in each room, providing a more comfortable environment for patients as well as family members staying with them. Depending on regulatory approval times, we anticipate the opening of all new patient rooms before the end of 2026

Surgery Department Gastro and Laparoscopic Towers: These towers are essential to the procedures our physicians perform every day, from endoscopies and colonoscopies to minimally invasive surgeries. Updated technology will directly enhance patient safety, diagnostic accuracy, and recovery outcomes. Modern gastro and laparoscopic towers provide:

  • Sharper visualization: Advanced 4K imaging allows physicians to detect even the smallest abnormalities, leading to earlier and more accurate diagnoses.
  • Improved safety and efficiency: Real-time feedback and enhanced precision reduce the risk of complications and shorten recovery times.
  • Expanded treatment capabilities: New systems support a broader range of procedures, ensuring more patients can receive the care they need right here in our community.

Scholarships: The Employee Scholarship Fund supports current employees achieving their educational goals while strengthening the overall organization by showing employees the hospital values its workforce and invests in employees’ future. The Future of Culbertson Scholarship Fund enhances the hospital’s ability to recruit top talent as well as contributing to a positive company culture and community impact.
