C.O.N.N.E.C.T. Beardstown hosts numerous events, including Art in the Park, River Rats Golf Classic, the Nighttime Christmas Parade, and many others.

A few of our featured campaigns this year for Beardstown Main Street a/k/a Beardstown CONNECT will be.......…

We will host four Brown Bag Lunch days during the month of June….each Wednesday in June live entertainment will be provided on the City Square with a light lunch…these fun lunch hours are from 12:00-1:00 each Wednesday.

During the 2025 CONNECT year, we have planned six Family Fun Nights which are held on the second Friday night of the months May through October---carnival theme, foam party, wet ‘n wild, Art in the Park, Hocus Pocus, a color run, meet the farm and machines.   These events are fun for the whole family.

Another year of Sounds on the Square exhibits local musical talent each first Friday night of the months of May through October.  These “concerts” attract many to our downtown---lots of hand clapping and toe-tapping!  Bring your lawn chairs and coolers for two hours of live music from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

And to round off the year, Beardstown’s Christkindlmarkt….a truly beautiful event that certainly will be worth the trip…do some Christmas shopping and find many edible goodies!  You will experience a parade on the Saturday evening after Thanksgiving to kick off the season.  Our City Square is filled with the Christmas spirit from the weekend after Thanksgiving through the end of December.  All tucked in quaint cedar chalets, we will host specialty vendors and artisans, eateries.  There will be carriage rides, live entertainment, and visits with Santa to name a few; this event is something you won’t want to miss---Beardstown’s very own ‘little Hallmark movie’!!
