Class of 1972! It has been over fifty years since the Class of 1972 graduated from Quincy High School. The world was changing rapidly, and we were right there with it. That year, President Richard Nixon made his historic visit to China, bringing a new chapter in global diplomacy. Meanwhile, the Watergate scandal began to unfold, forever changing American politics. In our own lives, we experienced milestones, built lasting friendships, and set the stage for our futures.

Now, as we celebrate this incredible milestone year, we have the chance to come together once more—not just to reminisce about the past but to create a legacy that will support Quincy students for generations to come through the Class Circles Challenge.

The goal is clear: raise $10,000 to create a permanent endowed fund—the Class of 1972 Circle. This fund will provide ongoing support to Quincy Public Schools in vital areas: technology access, mental health resources, arts and music education, athletics, and college and career readiness.

This is our moment to give back to the institution that played such a key role in shaping who we are today. Every contribution to the Class of 1972 Circle will help build that legacy. And once we reach our goal, the fund will continue to grow, supporting future Blue Devils for years to come.

Let’s also use this opportunity to reconnect. Reach out to your classmates, share stories, and encourage others to join the effort. Whether we competed together in sports, performed in school plays, or sat in class together, we’re all part of the foundation that was built at Quincy High School in 1972.

Together, we can turn memories into momentum and pride into progress. Let’s launch the Class of 1972 Circle—and build something truly lasting.
