St. Mary School has been forming young minds and hearts in Mt. Sterling, Illinois since 1864. 💙💛Rooted in our Catholic Dominican heritage and guided by our tagline, Where Everyone Grows, we believe every child is made in the image and likeness of God — and that a St. Mary education is about far more than academics. It is about forming young people of faith, integrity, and compassion who are equipped to love God and serve others well. That mission is only possible because of a community willing to invest in it. Tuition covers just one-third of what it actually costs to educate a child at St. Mary. The rest is carried by the generosity of donors, parishioners, and friends who believe — as we do — that Catholic education is a gift worth protecting.
